Lake Martha is located 10.5 miles northwest of Marysville, and one mile east of Warm Beach. It is fed by Lake Howard and drains to Port Susan. (There is another Lake Martha, known as Martha Lake, located near Alderwood Manor. Lake Martha is a small, clean and relatively clear lake.
Lake Martha is stocked primarily with hatchery rainbows, although a few cutthroats make their way into the mix some years. Spring fishing produces better trout catches, but the ambience is better in fall, especially if you like more solitude. The lake gives up a few large bass from time to time and is fairly famous for its summertime catfish action.
