Kalama River is located in Cowlitz County in Southwest Washington State and is one of the best Spring Chinook and Summer Run Steelhead Rivers of the Columbia River tributaries.
Kalama River is the fish spot for all year long, but the most amazing fishing is from December thru February when the winter Steelhead is running. Kalama River also produces beautiful Fall and Spring Chinook .The Kalama has great runs that are easy for fisherman to read, allowing them to work the waters and catch fish. This is a great river for beginners and experienced fisherman alike.
