Camping in Kettle Falls Locust Grove Group Site, Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area, WA Kettle Falls are actually dormant less than 80 feet of water formed by the backwaters of Grand Coulee Dam. There are approximately 29 “first-come/ first-served” sites designated in adjoining campground. St. Paul’s Mission is located about 2 miles from campground. Special Notes:

Reservations or changes to reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. Group sites A & B are closed on Wednesdays for maintenance. There are no electricity/water/sewer site hook-ups. Site A has an electric outlet. Comfort station opens from mid April to mid Oct, weather permitting. No metal detectors or collecting artifacts allowed. Beach fires are not permitted from May 1 to November 1. No ATV’s are allowed. Quiet hours 10PM to 6AM. 75 people and 35 vehicles maximum per group site A. 50 people and 25 vehicles maximum per group site B. Park vehicles in designated areas only. No off-road parking. Pets are allowed but must be restrained at all times. Camping is limited to 14 days per campground area per year, or a maximum of 30 days per calendar year within the recreation area.

Located 87 miles North of Spokane, WA. Take US Highway 395 North to the town of Kettle Falls, turn South on Boise Road at Barney’s Bridge and travel 3.5 miles to the campground.
